Exmoor Riding Centre, based on our Devon campsite, caters to all experience levels, from the beginner to the advanced, with a range of rides and variety of horses giving everyone the chance to explore. A discount is available to those staying on-site.

Our Rides...
Beginners Woodland Wander (1 Hour)
Set exclusively on our 160 acre site, this Exmoor horse ride is perfect for beginners exploring the wooded combe, adjacent streams and bluebell hills of our North Devon campsite. Staying within our land means you are free to be engrossed by your surroundings while on your hour-long beginners trek with roads out of sight and mind. Perfect for families.
If you go down to the woods today...
Coastal Delights (2 Hour)
Heading offsite, this trek takes in some of Exmoor's best coastal views. After dodging branches through Croscombe woods this North Devon ride tracks the South West Coast Path taking in sweeping hilltop views of the Bristol Channel and Lee Bay beach before swinging back towards home after a look at Lee Abbey. These open expansive spaces allow the horses to stretch there legs in trot and canter so this horse ride suits the more confident, advanced rider.

Smell the sea air on your ride
The Hunters Special (3 Hour)
Suiting the experienced rider comfortable in long periods on the saddle, this advanced Exmoor ride takes you over a large coastal section of North Devon. Staring off by rising up to summits taking in sea views as far as Swansea this trek works the horses on the local tough terrain before dropping down to the picturesque Heddon's Valley and Hunters Inn. Finished with a trot & canter across the fields home this horse ride has all the best Exmoor offers.

Not to be left out of riding on Exmoor opportunities for children are extensive at our North Devon trekking Centre. We offer 30 minute pony rides, where we lend you a smaller pony at your own risk which you are able to lead around wherever you like on-site. Take your little ones through the gorgeous orchard or to the camping fields so they can wave to their friends!
